Born in North Carolina, Griffin Hart Davis was introduced to photography at an early age through modeling. In 2004, while studying painting, he developed an interest in photography and subsequently shifted his focus toward the medium. His photographic practice includes both digital and analog film processes.

Davis studied and worked with photographers throughout the United States before pursuing formal studies in photography, where he further developed his technical and artistic practice. He later worked at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History as a photographer and assistant.

Upon returning to North Carolina, Davis worked, assisting other photographers, gaining further experience in commercial and editorial photography. In 2014, he established his own photography company. His work has since encompassed fine art, portraiture, editorial, commercial, fashion, wedding photography, and motion capture.

Davis has also worked extensively in film and video as a director and producer. His current work continues to develop across photography and film, with an increasing focus on directing and photography.
